Dance Your Way to Good Health!

Picture
Interested in trying out the latest dance fitness craze, but at a pace designed for those of us who haven't boogied in a while? Try my Zumba GoldTM class! No dance experience necessary. See "Class Descriptions" under the "My Classes" tab for class times, location, and fees.

Health and fitness experts note that moving to music is good for both your mind and your body. Dancing works many different muscles, is weight-bearing (good for your bones!), and can improve strength, flexibility, balance, and posture. You can burn off 200 to 500 calories per hour, depending on the intensity of the movements. Dancing aids weight loss, which in turn can improve cholesterol levels and decrease heart disease risk.
