About me: My name is Stephanie Funk. I am a Certified Pilates and Adaptive Fitness instructor. I teach group exercise classes for adults 50 and older through the San Mateo Adult School.
My teaching goals: To instill in my students a love of movement, an appreciation of the power and fragility of the human body, and an understanding of exercise as a critical component of our overall health and well-being.
My teaching mantra: Keep your body moving! Don't overdo it, do have fun. The best kind of exercise is the one you'll do. Choose any physical activity you enjoy and aim for at least 20 minutes a day.
PLEASE NOTE: I am not affiliated with the channel on YouTube called "fitnessmuse". My channel is called "fitnessmuse100". Also, to find my website directly (and not one of the many other sites using some variation of the fitness muse name), be sure to type www.fitnessmuse.com into your browser rather than doing a Google search.
