Better Bones & Posture, 2:00 - 3:00pm (October 5, 12, 19, 26 only)
In this Pilates-based fitness program you will practice safe and effective standing and mat exercises that form the pillars of bone-healthy movement. The exercises are designed to improve posture and balance, increase strength and flexibility, and reduce your risk for falls. The in-person, small group format allows us to focus on proper body positioning. You must be able to safely get down to and up from the floor for the mat exercises. 

Location: San Bruno Senior Center, 1555 Crystal Springs Rd, San Bruno
Fee: $8 per class
Registration: Pre-registration required - no drop-ins. Specify the class date(s) when registering. Class size limited to 10 participants. **ALL participants must be fully vaccinated and sign an in-person waiver of liability. Masks must be worn in the class at all times (except when hydrating).**

You will need: a mat, two resistance bands (one light resistance and one medium- to strong-resistance), and two pillows or two thick towels to cushion your bones and support your joints while on the mat. Instructor has bands you can borrow if necessary.
