NEW CLASS, SUMMER SEMESTER ONLY!

SUMMER WELLNESS WALK: Enjoy the outdoors while increasing your strength, flexibility, and cardiovascular health. Learn how to use a pedometer to measure and improve your daily activity level. Practice walking meditation techniques to include in your own walking regimen. Research shows that walking is good for your body and your mind! Walking can improve sleep patterns, elevate your mood, boost your energy level, and increase circulation. It's also a great way to meet people. Each class includes a warm up, self-paced walk, cool down, and stretching. We will follow a circular route to allow for various walking speeds. Wear weather- and exercise-appropriate clothing and shoes (athletic or walking shoes).
When: Tuesdays, 9-10 am (See Class Descriptions tab for dates and fee information)
Where: Baywood Room, Woodlake Condominiums, San Mateo
